The New Generation Festival and Mascarade Opera are delighted to present the Christmas concert “Voci di Luce”, scheduled for Thursday, December 11, at the Church of San Salvatore in Ognissanti.
The event is inspired by the English tradition of Nine Lessons and Carols, a Christmas rite born at King’s College, Cambridge, which combines biblical readings and choral singing to create an atmosphere of deep spirituality and shared celebration.
The evening will feature the Emerging Artists of Mascarade Opera, accompanied by the prestigious La Filharmonie – Philharmonic Orchestra of Florence, conducted by Nima Keshavarzi, together with the Choir of Santo Spirito, supported by the New Generation Foundation and directed by Mark Spyropoulos.
The event, held under the patronage of Regione Toscana, will begin at 7:00 PM with a Christmas reception in the historic Piazza di Ognissanti, enlivened by live music by Daisy’s and complemented by sweets and mulled wine generously hosted by the Hotel St. Regis.
The Christmas concert will start at 9:00 PM inside the Church of Ognissanti.
Entry is free, with voluntary donations welcome.
