Step behind the curtain with Mascarade Opera this May and discover the artistry of opera up close. Mascarade Opera presents The Mascarade Masterclass Series, a public masterclass with internationally-renowned mezzo-soprano Marina Prudenskaya and pianist and Artistic Director Julia Lynch.
Born in St Petersburg and trained at the city’s Conservatory, Marina Prudenskaya has been a permanent ensemble member of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin since 2013 and regularly appears on the stages of the world’s most prestigious opera houses, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Bayreuth Festival, the Vienna State Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Real Madrid and the Salzburg Easter Festival. A winner of the ARD International Music Competition in Munich, she is particularly acclaimed for her interpretations of Wagner, Verdi and Strauss.
